Taq-e Bostan is a site with a series of large rock reliefs in Kermanshah, Iran, carved around the 4th century CE during the Sasanian era and is located in the heart of the Zagros Mountains. The Sassanians were a Persian/Parsi dynasty who ruled Iran-shahr from about 226 CE until the Arab-Islamic invasion and conquest in the mid 600s.

Cody The Batman :

Portae Zagri (Zagros Gates) refers to ancient geographical passages, likely in the Zagros Mountains (modern Iran/Turkey), described by classical geographers like Ptolemy and Strabo as key mountain gates connecting regions, appearing on old maps alongside Portae Caspiae (Caspian Gates) and significant for trade and travel in antiquity, not directly the Chicago Portage. It's an ancient geographical name contrasting with the modern Chicago Portage, a historic land/water connection vital for North American development.
