[RECIPE BELOW❤️] 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup whole milk ¼ cup turbinado sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, not used in anime) Toasted walnut, chopped White peach, chopped Apricot, chopped Hawthorn, chopped Salt, for chilling 1. Prepare a large bowl of ice water and mix with a generous sprinkle of salt. 2. In a smaller bowl, add the cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla (if using). Place the bowl into the prepared ice water and whisk until thickened and a bit fluffy. A hand mixer will be very helpful! 3. This step is not done in the anime, but it’ll really help the ice cream develop better texture. If you’re fine with just a fluffy, whipped cream texture, you can skip this step. Once the ice cream mixture has thickened a bit, place it into the freezer. Whisk it every 15 to 30 minutes to help form some ice crystals and to thicken the ice cream more. Do this a couple times until the ice cream is thick like soft serve ice cream. 4. Sprinkle in the chopped walnut, peach, apricot, and hawthorn and mix well. Scoop and serve immediately and top with more chopped nuts and fruits. ***Alternatively, you can put the ice cream mixture into a resealable bag and place that into a larger resealable bag filled with salted ice water. For those wondering this is how they made ice back then with no fridge by putting salt into a big bucket filled with water then add another bucket with non salted water and stir which turn the non salted water into ice. CRAZY RIGHT!!!
