We did bassinet to floor bed tonight is night 2 and loving it so far we put the mattress in our room to get her used to sleeping on it while still being with us then plan to transition her to her room soon she’s 4 months old tomorrow

Both my kids used a crib til 3.5 because obviously I'd rather them be a secured place. Their room didn't have a door. It's a long story😂

Also PSA you still need a firm flat mattress that is safe for a baby to sleep on!!

3 of my kids were in a bassinet for 6 weeks or something like that and then directly into a floor beds

I think I'm going do for my 8 month old he screams in his crib and so we have been sleeping on the floor and he rolls all over in his sleep

FYI I was told there is no queen size mattress safe for infants. They don’t pass safety requirements. Which is why crib mattresses are built different. A baby doing this could suffocate because a queen mattress is too soft and not breathable for a baby.
