@allie_voss: One of the odd features of GenZ dating is the fact that some women can think that it’s an insult to be asked out by a man who they deem to be less attractive than themselves. And I don’t know who needs to hear this, but your own insecurity is your own problem, and being asked out is not an insult. I feel like the romantic world is getting much more difficult for everyone involved, and a lot of of it is because a guy is now supposed to accurately judge, whether or not you think he’s attractive enough to be hitting on you in the first place. I think as women we need to go into dating with our own security and not feeling like it’s validated or invalidated by whether or not we are attracted to the guy hitting on us.

I find nearly no one is objectively attractive. Also, to me, physical attractiveness is only about 1/3 of a person's attractiveness. If a person is particularly empathetic, wise, and intelligent, the "package" that comes in hardly matters.
