@jane.hypothyroidism: The most important step in treating cognitive issues caused by hypothyroidism is to ensure your thyroid hormone replacement is optimised. I've added a link to a video about the difference between normal and optimal test results at the end of this description. Lifestyle habits can also support cognitive function. Getting consistent, good-quality sleep helps reduce mental fatigue, while regular movement can improve focus and mood. Nourishing your body with balanced meals, staying hydrated and maintaining good vitamin and mineral levels, especially if you have insufficiencies or deficiencies. Iron, B12 and vitamin D are all crucial to thyroid health and important in maintaining good cognitive function. In addition to hypothyroidism medication, these essential nutrients will help relieve symptoms and restore balance. @Jane | Hypothyroidism 🦋 @Jane | Hypothyroidism 🦋 #hypothyroidism
Drifting off in conversations is hard, not one you can easily explain to people. Close family and friends are used to it 🤣 but I hate it
