A U.S. citizen was among the released which included Nobel Peace Prize winner Ales Bialiatski and Belarusian opposition activist Maria Kolesnikova. Their release came after President Trump's special envoy for Belarus, John Coale, visited President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk on Friday to negotiate their freedom.
