You can definitely eat mussels raw and its quite nice. But I do get the rusty metal taste. Theres a particular part of the mussel you have to shuck out so that you dont get that after taste. Raw mussel is nice with onion and lemon🙌

Chuck the mussels in a bowl & microwave for 2minutes.. they will open & steam. we in nz love them raw & fresh

Love that you love kai moana 😊 the fresh mussels are alive, use a knife to open them next time, not a sharp one though, could slip and cut you! Also, you can boil some water, pour over the mussels and once the shells open they’re ready to eat.. I love raw mussels and they’re fine to eat 😊
