Turn on your oven if its electric. put blankets up to the windows.make a blanket fort on your bed. Vent your dryer into your house instead of outside. Eat hot food and drink hot beverages. Warm yourself internally.

Please be super safe with the space heaters and turn them off when you go to sleep. Number 1 cause of winter 🔥

Poor midwesterner who grew up in some sketch rentals tips 🥰 Open your cabinets under your sinks and leave your water dripping. Frozen pipes are the worst! Plan to stay in the common areas, shut bedrooms off and roll towels to put at the bottom of the door. That’ll concentrate the heat you can make. Simmer water in your biggest pot, set reminders to top up frequently and turn off at night. Humidity somehow helps it feel warmer. Bake bake bake 😂 But don’t leave the oven on & open, at least not more than a few minutes at a time.

I’ve been there babe. My heat used to go out every winter. Roll up in that heated blanket like a burrito and bundle up. If you need a hot shower, boil pots of water and fill up the tub. I’m so sorry this is happening!!!!
