Always supporting you and what you do but encouraging not tipping can affect more than you think. On a 200 dollar tab a server usually tips out around 6% or more. Around 12 dollars for that server on stream, this goes to, the bartender, Busser and back of house. The server has to pay that regardless of what their tips are. At the end of the day. It might sound like we should just get another job but at the end of the night after and hand full of tables the tips can be worth it. For a lot of people this is a second job to make ends meet or to pay for college for someone like me a 22 year old with a toddler it’s a job where I can spend all day with my child and only be gone for a bit in the afternoon. The excuse in the video was the servers attitude and reaction. As long as you have what you need and on time they ARE doing their job even if another staff member was helping them. If they’re really busy that’s all they can really do. Her reaction is completely valid and actually a common thing that happens when a server knows they gave good service but didn’t receive a tip. And btw influencers in the service Industry are pretty known for not tipping which is completely wild to me since you guys are “always donating and handing out money to the less fortunate and working class”

As a service industry worker people who tip like that are so disrespectful. Even if it wasn’t me and I’d seen that my friend did that, I’d go back and tip. She makes a living on tips.
