Dementia yes it does done my own study for older men that I’ve known since I was a kid three things they haven’t common one they were old to. They were on statins and they got dementia.

any Dr that actively promoted the use of statins is a Dr I'll run away from. studies HAVE shown that they increase risks for dementia and type 2... prescriptions are not the answer, they cure nothing.

your brain and hormones are dependant of cholesterol. no statins for me, they can do other tests for risk of heart attack besides a cholesterol test.

Statins don’t work look at the data as far as extending life. It extends life by one day over five year.

At 53 I decided to lower my cholesterol naturally with diet. Got off statins. Had 2 stents put in after heart attack. Learned my lesson. My parents on statins for decades. No dementia. You won’t get dementia on statins. You will die from heart attack before. Good luck!
