i studied abroad in alicante, spain from jan-may. you definitely need LAYERS - it’s damp cold in the winter and then dry hot in the spring/summer. So puffy/parka jacket, leather jacket, and denim/lightweight jacket. 2 sweaters, 2 hoodies, casual wear and night out clothes. You’ll walk A LOT, so comfy shoes, boots and a cute pair of heels that go with everything. three types of handbags - daily tote, casual handbag, and cute crossbody purse (easy to wear/prevents pickpockets). Also, leave room for cute clothes/souvenirs that you can only get in spain!! I hope this helps 💖

bikinis, sports things just in case and only the clothes that you were really often i took 2 suitcases of stuff and it was to much, also take some pictures and posters it doesnt take any space and it’s really good to feel home

Only only take your favorite pieces of clothing that you know you wear all the time + going out clothes if you’re a bar/club person. (I brought 4 pairs of jeans to only wear two) + a worldwide charger

Don’t bring too much bc you’ll buy sooo much stuff, bring 4 outfits for uni, 2 dresses, 2 nice tops, 1 skirt. 2 pairs of pj’s. Make up, skincare, hairtools.

Don’t pack toiletries buy that when you get there pack plenty of clothes. Chargers. Shoes several different ones stuff you will need for school

If you’re coming to Madrid take sweaters and jackets with you cause it can get really cold and rainy here. Be sure to also have lighter clothes cause the weather can change during the day and become hot. If you need any more tips dm me, I’ve been here since September🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I moved abroad for masters but not in Madrid! bring the essentials like favourite sweater, favourite jean etc because YOU will buy things over there! Any medication and cold meds! Don’t bring any hair hot tools, they won’t work because of outlets (you’ll blow a fuse!)
