It is my goal to live in my home forever. 10 more years on my 30 year mortgage. When I get an assessment, I make sure the house is compliant, but messy and unkept. My house is still worth 2.3 times the value I bought it for.

Everyone with traditional properties need to take a close look at this. Give it till about 28, 2029. You're all losing your houses. Everyone thinks they're safe. They're not. What you need is a plot of land. A septic, a sewer, a well, far away from anyone else. This is what everyone's going to look like.
