They take in 30–40 new animals every single week, many of them victims of road accidents, abuse or neglect. Animal SOS is one of the only shelters in Sri Lanka that never euthanises animals on arrival, no matter their condition. Running a shelter of this size requires constant funding for food, medicine, surgeries and daily care — and they are currently struggling for donations. Even a small contribution can help feed an animal or cover urgent medical treatment.
