Just because Israel supported South Sudan at one point does not erase or justify the harm being done to Palestinians. Helping one nation does not give moral permission to participate in the displacement, erasure, or suffering of another. And maybe it is you just having gratitude because South Sudan has gone through so much I understand but gratitude for past support does not require silence or complicity.

We can appreciate Israel, for what they have done. But that doesn’t mean they are free from any criticism, when they are doing wrong. It was the north Sudanese that massacring us. Not the innocent Palestinian children that live in a whole different continent who had nothing to do with our conflict. Our hurt shouldn’t be at the expense of innocent lives as it’s was us to us, that is what I believe is the Christian way.
