I don’t agree with her saying that her character is racist. She seen colonization firsthand where spider‘s father kill half of her whole village, including her father and they’re hunting her and her family. And it’s not old. It’s really new. That’s not racism that’s a trauma response

Brilliant question, her relationship with Spider adds so many layers to Neytiri and as Zoë puts it, he exists as the greatest obstacle to her faith with Eywa and also holds a dark mirror up to Jake’s and her father’s relationship almost in the first film. Great stuff
