@nina_angel_lacartier: I don’t think these people would like Samoan people or Polynesians very much either. I might be a quiet person and I can tell by how the girl standing up for her friends and “family” was actually fumbling over her words due to being in awe it was even said and that she isn’t typically a speaker (social anxiety is a real thing) but to say they are annoying and to specifically say what type of people. Latina women are not loud. Usually, they can be pretty submissive, to the right man. The fact this was even said was astonishing. First, it was all the sex stuff within the honors English and then this? I want whosever child’s’ parents gets were to know they raised their daughter right because even though her voice shook, she stood up for the right thing. This is a prime example of no, you don’t always have to respect your elders, especially if they are doing things that aren’t respectable. Never let someone utilize that argument. Here at K-State we are all supposed to be family. There’s no room for that talk within a family unit. I knew if I had clocked it, somebody else had too. The passive aggressive jab. Clearly shows we need to start teaching ourselves and do our own studies because clearly they think college students are stupid. They clearly do not believe they have integrity or morals. They clearly believe everyone else thinks the way they do. A few of us students noticed something was off in my first biology class where they kept marking right answers wrong and if we spoke up about it, they tried to go after our grade. Clearly, some got bold enough to start doing things in front of the class. A type of grooming process or temperature checking as you can also call it. I think you have the wrong bunch of kids. Nobody is paying that much to have their futures tampered or played with. Stop assuming college kids just listen to what they are told. Do better. The grooming is going to stop. Xoxo I would love to apologize on behalf of this behavior because it shouldn’t have happened and that isn’t what Kansas is about. Perhaps try Mississippi? Places where they are still into their cousins might be more “belonging.” #fyp #foryoupage #wtf #kansas #tryagain
