@kila..kitu: Les Filles de Illgihadad are a Tuareg band from Illighadad, central Niger. Led by Fatou Seidi Ghali, the first female Tuareg guitarist, the musical group was founded in 2016. While women did not traditionally play the guitar in their culture, they would play tende; a style of music centered on a special drum made out of mortar.
