I’m 28 wks FTM and working on a birth plan. I have no medical back ground and don’t know how to educate my husband on all the ins and outs bc I’ve never experienced this. I know I don’t want an epidural, but I’m ok with gas or iv meds. I’m okay with Pitocin if used as a tool and not abused to just hurry up and get this over with. I don’t want an episiotomy or to push on my back. I know random things about birth that I do/dont want but I don’t know what else I need to know or what to tell him. Could you make a video on what a normal birth may look like and decisions you might have to make?

I wanted gas and air. when I couldn't do contractions anymore I skipped right to IV drugs, then when I felt no relief went to epidural. i wish I just had someone help me find another position and actually follow my birth plan.

thank you, I've had a difficult time being her advocate even during her appointments lately, the doctors don't listen to me and ignore me till I get them to listen and realize when she's in pain or stuff like that and can't talk on her own.

what can you tell me about cord blood and tissue collection? I want this for my daughter and her baby. when I asked her Dr about it, she said she didn't really know about that or if they do it.

The 24th of this month I will be having my third ultrasound to see how big baby is.. I have a past with shoulder dystocia and big babies..so they’re checking to see if I need to be induced or not. I really do no want to be induced or any medicine this time around (my other two came on their own) if the suggest wanting to induce me can I deny? Or is there a way to be induced without medication ?
