Thank you for this Jess. I’m 35 going on 36 years old. I finally made the personal decision to become a mother by choice. I was so career driven in my 20s not giving much time to dating. Lost my dad at 30 years old during the height of COVID. Recently more self aware that that I’m bisexual. The last woman I fell in love with was single mom by choice and ended up with triplets after an abusive relationship she got out of. Though the relationship ended, she was my biggest inspiration to take this leap of faith in my life to become a mom by choice. I love seeing women become mothers by choice and to not race against their biological clock. I’m trying to settle down my nurse practitioner career at the moment and in another year or two…start my fertility process for IUI. I want this more than ever. I don’t want to wait for my dating life to go right. I have one more living parent, my mom, that I never want to see leave this world without becoming a grandparent. Thank you for keeping me inspired 🫶🏻
