Kachava Chai is my go-to... yummy with even just water! - I buy the cheapest plane ticket I can find and have spent 16+ flights in basic economy. For those I just hope I get an aisle (or pick it), bring some sort of sleep aid and have books downloaded on my kindle. (now that I have started knitting maybe I’ll bring that??) - Some airlines do intentional stopover programs, so you can choose a long layover, go explore the city, and have your next flight be a day or so later! A few that participate are: IcelandAir, Emirates, TAP Air Portugal, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines. - @Airalo makes it easy to get cell service when you land in a foreign country! Make sure you download and install the eSIM before you leave your home country (you’ll need wifi to properly install it). Once it is downloaded and activated, you’ll be able to switch your cellular data over to that plan and use it in the new country! I have used them in so many countries and they’re too convenient.
