Lol 97% is an ethnic minority. The level of Japanese people would have to drop to 49%. And how do you count people who have naturalised. If someone only has Japanese citizenship and they are not considered Japanese, what are they?

Unfortunately due to the extreme low pay, terrible treatment of foreigners, rental discrimination, backwards outdated paperwork, they mainly only attract low educated foreigners from underdeveloped countries with low ability to adapt properly to the culture. Further leading to poor image of foreigners.

The old man put up an interesting point, especially with the whole FYP on social media now and catered/targeted posting it creates a sort of overwhelming sense of ‘wrong’ being committed in the world. If you only react to videos or news about bad immigrants or tourists, you’ll only end up seeing those sorts of posts

What honestly sucks though, is a lot of the people that they see breaking rules are tourists who don’t know the rules. (Which makes sense since it’s difficult to learn every rule for a trip). But it ruins it for us who do live here. The influx of tourism is making Japanese people think differently about foreigners and clumping us all together.

How can jobs be stolen if there are not enough people to do the jobs? They're scared of becoming the minority 😅 like these thoughts are so unlogic 😅 They never consider that foreigners here will assimililate. Because their view of the world is quite limited they can't imagine even what other people are like.

Less than 2% of the country. Jobs will be stolen? The Japanese people aren't even willing to take those jobs that foreigners are. They say its okay as long as foreigners follow the rules but will still hate them even if they do. They will blame Chinese people for things they didn't do to a push a narrative.
