The Jews believed in more of a messiah that looked like Jesus before he came. After he came they changed their outlook to not align with Jesus

Yet they denied Him to His face! Ciaphus was a Sadducee which were gnostics that rose out of the Hellenistic assimilation during 400 years of silence aka Alexander the Great time

And they literally thought He will be a political king that will free them from Roman oppressions and slavery, unknowingly to them that His kingship is not of this world but heaven and that He didn't come to mettle in the affairs of men but to bring salvation and liberty from the bondages of Sin...

𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗡 — 𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 Revelation is actually one of the clearest books in Scripture when it comes to showing the distinction between the Most High God and His Son — if it is read without a Trinity framework imposed on it first. The confusion does not come from the text. It comes from the lens people bring to the text. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 Revelation begins with a throne scene where one is already seated before the Lamb ever appears. “And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.” — Revelation 4:2 There is no Lamb yet. No wounds. No mediator. This scene aligns perfectly with: • Daniel 7:9 — the Ancient of Days • John 17:3 — “the only true God” The One on the throne is the Father. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗘 When the Lamb appears, He does not replace the One on the throne. He approaches Him. “And I beheld… a Lamb as it had been slain… And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” — Revelation 5:6–7 This is decisive. The Lamb takes the scroll from another being. No one takes something from himself. The Son approaches the Father. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗗 The Lamb is worshipped, but for a reason clearly stated in the text. “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain…” — Revelation 5:12 Why is He worthy? Because He was slain. Because He overcame. Because He redeemed. These are not attributes of the Most High God. They are the achievements of the Son, exalted by God. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 Later Revelation speaks of: “the throne of God and of the Lamb” — Revelation 22:1 This is shared authority, not shared identity. Scripture already explained this relationship: “Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father… And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him…” — 1 Corinthians 15:24–28

Isn’t it sad that their prophets were given such beautiful visions of who Messiah would be, yet they couldn’t recognize him when He was among them?

The tribe of Judah expected a reigning davidic king messiah. Have u ever heard of the other archetype from other tribes? There was also a messiah Ben Yosef. Aka Joseph. The tribe of ephraim. The suffering servant archetype. It’s interesting because Jesus fulfills both. Also interesting because the first time he reveals himself as messiah is at Jacob’s well. Which is the tribe of Ephraim.

It speaks of the messiah having seed so if you want to accept this as messianic, which it objectively is, it rejects Jesus as the messiah.

Does not say he is son of god. He will inherit the kingship. The Christian dilemma !
