So easy to get a job 🤣🤣 I worked 70 hours a week, in a suit, vacuuming cars to get ready to rent them to people. I often stood in water after washing the car by hand. I made $32,000 per year, never ate lunch and just collapsed when I got back home. That experience helped me get a new job. You are not going to graduate and make $100k per year. You need to take a job that is likely beneath your skill set. What jobs did you do in High School and College? What are your passions? Are you willing to pack up and move across the country for an opportunity that might not work out? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to be successful?

My parents talked about how great college is and stuff like that. I tell them my biggest regret was going. Now I’m stuck with a degree that doesn’t pay the great, looking for a new job.

College is NOT a scam. Unfortunately, in the market economy (like in the US), the law of supply and demands determine almost everything. Going to College is now easier than ever, especially with the availability of student loan. We now have a large supply, but dwindling demand, especially due to automation and AI. in your grandparents era, having a College degree is not as common. Hence, the advice of getting a college degree will open up a part to home ownership was correct back then. Nowadays, you need so much more than College degree to secure high paying position.
