How bout if you get stopped, hear me out, you turn off your bike, remove the key and put them in your pocket, dismount and immediately remove your helmet. That way you don’t get your keys taken away, you don’t run the risk of getting tossed off your bike causing damage to the plastics, and you don’t stand there confused cause you can’t hear them talking to you. Turn your music off after you’ve taken your helmet off. This will go a long way.

I’ve met far more bad cops than I have good ones. It used to be a dream job of mine growing up to be a police officer, and that quickly changed with my worst experience a wrongful arrest. They are not your friend. Don’t say anything more than you legally have to.
