You people have no idea how writing and storytelling work. There was no foreshadowing, she was pissed the Jon was more popular than her, and that she had no friends in Westeros. Her friend died, but it’s not enough to warrant this turn. They could’ve set up her madness and made her more like her father Aerys, but they waited until the last episode to do it. This is blatant character assassination, which is fitting because that’s all David and Dan did the last two and a half seasons.

The plot itself wasn’t bad, it was the execution, it was bad writing. They need to set up the mad queen plot since season five so that culminated in season eight but they didn’t it kind of started a little bit here and there in season seven but really hit just as a brick in season eight. And then the ending with Tyrian “best story” was just plain stupid.
