Ballroom dancers take all the pins and stuff out THEN soak their hair in water and soap and then brush it, we don’t rip or pull our hair out like that

I was a synchronized swimmer when I was a teen, and the gel we used in our hair for shows was basic Knox gelatin. our parents would paint in on our updos with paintbrushes. it showered out alright. i remember my hair was SO soft afterwards.
