I’m really sorry for your loss. When it comes to grieving, we so often get stuck thinking about what we could’ve done differently, where we should’ve been, or how we could’ve changed things. But honestly, that’s one of the hardest things you can do to yourself. They wouldn’t want you carrying that kind of guilt. I know our minds can drift to dark places sometimes, even when we don’t want them to. Just know they’re still close in their own way, and they would never want you to blame yourself. It takes so much strength to say these things out loud, and it really shows how deeply you loved them and how close they are to your heart. Not being able to say goodbye is incredibly painful, and it’s natural to replay everything and wonder what you would’ve done differently. If it helps, talk to them at night before you fall asleep. Let it all out. Say what you need to say. And try to hold onto the beautiful memories, too. Grief means you loved deeply. Take it one day at a time, be gentle with yourself, and don’t rush the healing. You’re doing the best you can. Stay strong. You’re not alone.🫶

Hey Raven, I'm really sorry for the losses you've experienced. That is really painful. There's a lot of things we would do or say if we knew we couldn't keep the people we love as long as we wanted. I'm sure B had the best childhood with wild little you by his side. What a gift to have grown up with a friendship like that. While it always hurts, the loss is always worth the love. I moved 30 minutes away from one of my high school friends. we'd been talking about doing lunch for a while but I isolated and kept putting it off. she left us in February. I hate myself for not seeing her one last time.

Christmas time is the hardest time without my grandfather. His birthday is coming up in a couple of days and even though he’s been gone for a few years it’s still hard not being able to call him and tell him how my life is going. We’ll get through it, it’s just hard. 💜💜
