What blows my mind is I’m a hair stylist and can bring my shears through tsa with me… not considered a weapon… but this… THIS .. is a weapon lol.

I’ve had me bag pulled and searched because my medical eye ointment looked like a pointy knife on the X-ray. I begged them not to confiscate it because it was $30 lol

My bag got pulled for an extension comb that has a point on the end. They said it was a weapon and threw it out.

lol they once threw out my hair comb that had a pointy end for parting out, saying it was a weapon….I’m like yeah, definitely use it to fight my hair to part the right way 😂

I had my checked bag pulled for inspection. They made a complete mess of my very neatly packed suitcase AND left their little detection tool inside my bag and shipped it all the way to Boston with me. I found it in my suitcase and thought I was being framed. I called all airports I went through and then was told I had to bring it back… imagine explaining that to the Boston airport when they discovered I had it in my suitcase.

I was so confused because my qua sha is made of stone & smaller than my palm. Then you showed it & I was like, “yep that makes more sense now” 🤣

You should download the TSA app. It has a section for “Can I Bring?” and the list of items is hilarious (crockpot, antlers, throwing stars, etc). Every time I see something random and funny on that list, I think “There’s a story behind this”. I’ll be looking for Gua Sha to appear on the list soon.

I had my bag pulled aside at the Bogotá airport because they thought I had a bullet in my bag. It was my Hourglass lipstick…

My bag got pulled and searched at the Cancun airport for my nail file….that was at the bottom of my makeup bag in carry on. i wouldn’t have been able to get it out on the plane to use as a weapon. They took my nail file.
