The hair had already fallen out.The only thing holding it on the head was the cradle cap... i've fostered literally dozens of newborns, and it happens to most of them... You gave them a nice clean comfy head with no itchy dandruff

If cradle cap is the only thing holding their shed hair on, you absolutely need to clean it off. Baby hair usually falls out.

I did this to all of mine. It itches them if you don’t. No point in holding onto something that’s already dead and will grow back.

My youngest had it I used aquaphor shampoo and ointment gently combed it out did it twice it was gone and no hair loss

My 1st baby had it and I used Olive oil with Rosemary in it and applied a little bit at a time on her scalp. I gently scrubbed it and went away and she had strong hair after that too.

I always put coconut oil on my babies head let it sit for an hour or so and then it washed right off

I took a soft tooth brush with coconut oil for my daughter and she had minimal hair loss and each time it came back less I’d say by the 3-4 time it was completely gone!
