Hi, I have itchy sensation in the whole body (also on the scalp and the eyes) for as long as I can remember (but no redness). For context, I have hypermobility (but not EDS) and autistic traits. Its seems to increase/I am more aware of It after a day in a more polluted city. It feels like I've got something in my eye all the time. My dermatologist told me to consult a dermatologist specializing in corneal surface. Can you help me ? Which spécialist I have to fo to ?

I recently got Dx with RA. My pain & stiffness started in hands and wrists then moved up to shoulders... had frozen shoulder few times..unbeatable pain !! Then it started spreading to knees, and just pain all over. so hard to get outta bed in the mornings! Some days I didn’t. And I felt like everyone thought I was exaggerating…guess cause it’s not a visible illness..I get tht same rash also. But rheumatologist never really explained why the illness is accompanied by the rash.

I get this BAD. I suggest cold showers, hydrate, Benadryl and/or 24 hour antihistamine, moisturize, keep the house/bedroom temp low it’s better to layer than the chance of body temp increasing. Lotions I use: NIVEA Body Lotion Essentially Enriched 72h Moisture, LA ROCHE-POSAY ECZEMA SOOTHING RELIEF CREAM, A&D Diaper Rash Ointment & Skin Protectant, Vaseline Baby HEALING JELLY White Petrolatum Skin Protectant Hypoallergenic. I HIGHLY suggest burn gel (BENZALKONIUM CI 0.13%/ FIRST AID ANTISEPTIC LIDOCAINE HI 4% / TOPICAL PAIN RELIEF) or Biofreeze, It will not take the pain away, however i find that the “cooling” effect turns the burning into an icy pins and needle type sensation feels much much better. I also find that it helps the rash calm down until the bend rly can take over. After EVERY shower (if I’m not having a bad rash, I use the lidocaine/biofreeze if so) I use an arnica gel followed by whatever lotion. It really helps relax and moisturize my skin and nerves. I use take 24 hour allergy medicine in the morning and Benadryl every night.
