To be real most the demographic spending the most money in beauty are predominantly white woman. Unless the brand is owned by someone of minority, we won’t be sought out because we do not appeal to the majority of people who don’t really see us as beautiful. We need to stop showing so much love to brands who have never showed us any love or given us any opportunities to shine & get paid for it. Because the truth is most of these brands are making too much money to feel like they need to change & the only time they’d change is if they feel compelled to based on a strong shift in their environment. We need to focus all our attention on uplifting brands black, brown, Asian, & even queer owned🙏🏿

I’m honored, ty bby💋 I think the main thing is that most brands follow the money. To them creativity and talent isn’t really worth anything to them especially if they don’t feel confident it could be an asset when it comes to appealing to their specific audience. If we can’t generate enough sales, talent & creativity really doesn’t amount to anything unfortunately.
