@mariyathepainter: To be honest, I’m embarrassed to even post this video but I found this short clip of my sanding work from a few years ago and it made me realize how far I’ve truly come in my trade. This was my first solo drywall fix. At the time, I genuinely thought this was good — because I didn’t know what I didn’t know yet. Skill doesn’t show up overnight. It shows up after repetition, mistakes, frustration, and choosing to keep going when things don’t look perfect. Three years later, the difference is night and day, and not because I’m special but because I stayed consistent. If you’re early in your journey, whatever that may be, and doubting yourself, let this be your reminder: progress takes time, and that’s okay! #progress #trades

The mansplaining about fixing the errors made 3 years ago that clearly aren’t an issue now. 😂

It’s literally just mudding why do people over complicate it and make it seem like it’s a trade with insane skill

It’s not bad. But the first part you could have done with a wet sponge and saved time and dust.

I need you to not cut the video so I can see what kindof sorcery you're actually doing to make it look that good 😂

Not how we start, how you finish.. Getting the jobs now has become harder than the job itself..

I deadass stared at that ‘crack in the wall’ for five minutes before realizing it was just my phone’s cracked screen protector
