I NEVERR recommend people sending the post because 9/10 times it always leads to giving someone leverage to freak over “private business being aired online” or “the replies are super mean” instead of keeping focus on the main issue.

"handle it privately" they did, they went no contact. it was the family budding their noses where they weren't needed that caused it to be aired out to everyone. I hate families where the victims are expected to continue to deal with their abusers and will deliberately put them together knowing that it is clearly boundary crossing.

They all knew. They didn’t care. My family all knew my mom abused us. They didn’t care. They tried to pretend they knew nothing when we called them out as adults but they were there for some of it and both batting an eye
