When my unit returned to the U.S. we received a written order that we were not allowed to donate blood due to a “parasite” we were supposedly exposed to. 🤨 I still have the letter.

The experimental anti nerve agent pills that were nerve agent in pill form. Anthrax pills, all the shots they gave us before deployed, all the burning oil wells that turned day into night. I still have my cammies that I wore. Still darkened from the oil. All the unexplained joint pains, hallucinations and irritated gut.

The burn pits, Sarin nerve gas exposure, lived in Mop4 for weeks, all the chemical monitors were going off at one time, when the wind came down from the north. The canna pills we were ordered to take every 8 hours to counter the nerve gas exposure

You forgot that some of us were exposed to Sarin. That wasn’t confirmed until 2 years ago.

Our navy ship was hit with sand storms at least two times. Then you washed off with our fire hoses with salt water.

My husband was exposed to the sulphur fires and burn pits. He is going down hill so fast. It’s a fight to get him the care he needs. To me, it’s like the VA don’t care or want to deal with his sickness. Especially now that he may have cancer.

Kidney and prostate cancer at 53 😞 discovered this year on annual physical but if I could go back in time I’d still enlist Semper Fi - a lot of emotions to work through but I know God is Good

VA denied my claim. No other was as far north and in the fires as long as we were- out in the open. Yet the VA says no military connection.

I had to take over the NBC room and had to take a NBC class, an old SFC, anyway he said he was attached to a SF squad during the Gulf war and he said his alarms went off one night, he said for chemical agent of some kind, anyway he said after the all clear he was told his alarms must have been defective and not log it in his log book by a bird Colonel, he said there was nothing wrong with his alarms
