It’s your job to prepare the order. and tip is not mandatory. I work in Office on the minimum pay and I do my job good anybody come pick it up their paper than never tip me?

Take-out? No tip should be expected regardless of order size. Secondly, tipping is NOT mandatory. Stop acting like you're owed. Yes every penny counts for everyone; but if you chose a job that doesn't meet your needs, it's on you to find a different job...NOT the customers' subsidizing your income. Not opposed to tipping, just to the demanding nature of these workers. And in this instance, I would fire her too as her subsequent actions reflected poorly on my business.

I was a legal assistant for years… I never got a tip. When do you not have to tip someone? What job? Or is it what salary ? It’s confusing these days. I feel like I’m running around helping to pay everyone’s salary, and I’m living on social security.

for what she went and done they are correct for giving her the pink slip.cooks and chef if have chef put food into the Togo box from the stove or grill servers don't touch anything .they pick food up and give to person.now if the owner gives money to kitchen works extra up to them.but crying cause you picked up food and gave no tip is nessecary.besides don't know if food is going to homeless people or people in the Church.
