Seriously! Prime example, I’ve never been to an NFL game in my life. My cousin called this Sunday saying he had an extra ticket to go! But as a father I’d rather have my son have that experience so I sent him instead! He said it was the best day of his life & that means so much more than me going! 🙏🏾

Even on a smaller scale, your energy. My wife and I were both tired. We got home later than usual and it was approaching bedtime. While prepping dinner, she reminded me that our daughter needed a bath and she offered to pitch in because she felt bad about me being tired too and I told her I’m a man. This what comes with it. The responsibility is an amazing feeling and knowing your impact makes the hardest days the most gratifying.

To the fathers, please learn how to lead, plan, and create structure for yourself and for your family. Estate planning, asset protection, play outside with family, active in kid's school activities, kid's date night one on one, date night with spouse, family night, annual family vacation, self-care for yourself, hangout with positive guy friends, annual spouse vacation, spouse can hangout with her female friends, wife/husband mutual friendship hangout(s), financial literacy, 529 college funds, investing in real estate and stocks, building personal and business credit, etc.

this mentality is why I hate when my wife asks what I want for Christmas. I know our finances and if I want it I can save for it. I'd rather use the Christmas money on them or saving it to make sure they are alright
