Maybe it has to do because they are way overpriced and people started to buy cheaper and better built Chinese versions. Good old America bites it again. They buy products from China and sells it to us at a premium price. It’s catching up to them now!

My Neato officially went off-line earlier this week. I can’t even turn my robot vacuum on remotely anymore. I have to manually hit the button now 🫠

The issue is the same product is being sold for less because guess what they are both Chinese made and probably in the same factory

I haven’t had a roomba in years. But I’ve had 3 roborocks and love them! I toss em when they go through something gross or they’d last forever

Yeah don’t expect support to last indefinitely. Unless someone acquires the IP and software, much like anything else electronics that goes bankrupt, this will slowly lose support, and unfortunately become a software safety issue for your home if they’re not passing through any security patches.

They didn’t do anything to improve upon it’s design and performance. If you own a roomba it’s probably broken.

probably because they started putting cameras in the robots and no one wanted that in their house.

Competition, also Chinese based product, doesn't work with high tariffs against China

Tarrif had nothing to do bad pricing, bad specs vs competitors plus the cost for replacement parts are disappointing.
