If it’s only beeping when you bend your arm, it’s not the IV that’s bad it’s just the catheter being bent in your arm. Keep your arm straight and it won’t beep :) IV looks really good to me

It’s not a “bad IV”. It’s a positional occlusion when you bend your arm the fluid is not flowing through the catheter. In ER we love AC IVs because we draw labs off of there and need bigger IVs/veins for certain testing. For long term infusions… I’d be changing the site real quick before letting my pts run the machines

When you bend the arm it blocks the medicine from coming in. The IV is just fine. Stop bending your AC. Also stop turning the alarm off and notify your nurse. Have you ever seen a blown AC? It hurts.

You dont need to press start when its doing the slow beep, just straighten your arm and itll restart itself
