@davidmeltzer: One of my favorite reminders is simple: you’re either humble or you’re about to be. None of us succeed alone, and the sooner we accept that, the faster we grow. Your community matters. The people you learn from and the people you lift up create a mathematical advantage in your life. When you know your “who” (who can help you and who you can help) you shift from possibility to probability. The fastest way to get where you want to go is to find someone who’s already there and ask for directions, while also guiding someone toward their own goals. Humility opens the door, and your “who” carries you through it.
