I'm the technician and I'll have it apart in an 1.5 hours but then find out the part is wrong. Can only find a Dorman part and it's 2 days out. Will have to waste another .7 to reassemble enough to get it out of my bay. 3 days later will have another 3 hours to reassemble and test just to find out the Dorman part leaks.

as a student technician, we get paid based off of the estimated time it takes to compete the job, and we are paid our hourly rate over that estimated time, no matter how long it takes. i’d agree with the owner ✌
