I’m 52 and came out June this year and have a gf I just couldn’t be suppressed anymore, I still look at men and say he’s good looking but I don’t want to date them. I’ve never felt so comfortable in my own skin and head like I do now 🥰

for me it's so so hard to understand late bloomer because for me it feels like I was born gay and there were never a doubt. I just felt it deeply what I like and what not. but I am bisexual, so maybe it's easier then to see different kinds of love or something idk

I'm in my early 30s now and I know I'm a lesbian. But looking back on my life, even as a kid, signs were there. But the possibility that I could be was never a thought that entered my mind. It only started clicking slowly when I fell in love with a woman by accident in my late 20s. Being from Eastern European culture didn't help, sure. But it's wild how much you suppress! Definitely relate to the comphet part. And I appreciate you highlighting conflating platonic love with sex/physical attraction!
