Spoiler‼️Jack lives in the Marrowbone house with his siblings—Billy, Jane, and Sam—after their mother dies. They keep her death secret to avoid being separated by social services. They also claim their abusive father is dead and locked in the attic, and disturbing noises from upstairs make it seem like something supernatural is happening. The twist reveals that Billy, Jane, and Sam are already dead. Their father returned to the house and murdered them. Jack survived the attack but developed dissociative psychosis as a coping mechanism. The entire movie is told from Jack’s distorted perception of reality. His siblings continue to “exist” because Jack’s mind cannot accept their deaths. The terrifying presence in the attic isn’t a ghost or monster—it’s Jack’s repressed memory of his father and the violence he committed. In reality, Jack has been living alone in the house, unknowingly interacting with hallucinations. When he finally confronts the truth, he accepts that his siblings are gone and allows himself to move on. The haunting ends because it was never supernatural—it was the result of severe trauma and denial.

Naa the Dad came in the house and killed them but the big bro managed to kill the Dad and left his body up there that’s why he always paints that ceiling it the blood stains making the ceiling look black he is having a delusion thinking his little brother and sister are still alive but they were killed by the father couple of months ago he is alone in the house but he thinks his siblings are still there with him,a girl came into her life it was through her it was revealed his siblings were death
