@swim.blake.run: It’s been on hell of a year. January 18th: Shippey 100 mile relay, first team race coming back for the solo 100 miles in 2026 May 10th: Gulf Coast 70.3 the first time I proved to myself I could go fast and compete in triathlon June 22nd: Rockford 70.3, hardest race I’ve ever done. 95 degree heat, threw up 6 times on the run but gutted it out and finished July 12th: First ever age group win at a local triathlon August 2nd: Celebrated my best friend who took his own life August 10th: Got scuba certified, opened up a world of future adventures, saw a massive Goliath grouper as big as me August 14th: Summited Mt. Elbert, the highest point in Colorado August 16th: Helped pace my cousin to a sub 25 hour race at the historic Leadville 100 ultramarathon September 28th: Battled the heat, hills, and humidity to set over a 3 and a half hour course PR at Ironman Chattanooga November 2nd: Ran a 3:39 off the bike at Ironman Florida, 5 weeks after Ironman Chattanooga, proving to myself I can do well in the Ironman distance once again November 14th: Went on an epic Katy trail bike ride adventure and tested my limits. December 14th: Raced my first road marathon in Honolulu and gave it my everything despite heavy rain, heat, and humidity. If there’s something you want to do, don’t ask for permission, don’t wait for anyone else, just go do it. #fyp #endurance #adventure #dohardthings #yearinreview
