In the comments you say that Merlin and Gaius should have helped her but the core of the series is the fact that fate cannot be changed, any decision would have led to the same outcome, Arthur's death, if Gaius and Merlin had helped her it would have ended the same way and she would have become evil anyway

y'all saying there were so many chances to stop this path, which is 100% true, but y'all are forgetting the one time Merlin tried to help her and Uther ended up k*lling ppl which reinforced to Merlin that Gaius was right, even tho he was wrong, and so Merlin was convinced he couldn't do anything. THIS IS ENTIRELY UTHER AND GAIUS' FAULT. Merlin can't even be blamed for this
