🚨 OCTOBER 6 ARREST: Holly Leeann Flores, 37, stabbed her 10-month-old son and 3-year-old daughter in the chest and her husband in the head, Northlake police say. Both children survived, and the police chief said he expected them to recover. Before dawn on October 6, 2026, her 34-year-old husband called 911 from their home in the Canyon Falls neighborhood of Northlake, Texas. He told dispatchers his wife had a knife and had stabbed him. Chief Robert Crawford said Flores forced her husband outside as he tried to reach the children in another room. Officers arrived within minutes, detained Flores and found the injured children while searching the home. Emergency crews took her husband and both children to a Fort Worth hospital. The chief said the husband’s injury did not threaten his life and that hospital staff kept the children for observation. Crawford also said officers had responded to the home about 5 times since March, mostly for welfare concerns. He declined to explain those earlier calls while detectives investigated the stabbings. Medical staff treated Flores for minor injuries before officers took her to Denton County Jail. Police announced preliminary charges of 2 counts of attempted capital murder and 1 count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities have not publicly released a motive. Northlake police continue to investigate what happened inside the home.
