My mom would pull my hair, she punched me and busted my lip, drag me, and slap me then would tell me that she was doing it for a good reason because I was hysterical (I was begging her to leave me alone and give me a minute to calm down) and convinced others she had good reason when I would tell them. Both her and my dad will gang up on me and scream at me. She’ll make me late to stuff by starting an argument, especially if I’m excited about going to something. When she busted my lip it was the night before a really important event where I was going to be in front of people. She did this and still does it sometimes. It started when I was 14 and I’m 18 right now trying to move out.
