Anecdotally as a 7th grade teacher I’m seeing reading skills improving and less grown up iPad kids. 3 years ago my classes could not have done the activities we are doing now. Hopefully this trend continues as we recover from COVID.

If your child cannot READ and WRITE by 3rd grade, you should be SCARED! If your child cannot critically think or problem solve by 5th grade, you should be SCARED! Take away the electronics. Be involved in their lives. Please! As an educator, for your own kids sake and future, PLEASE do this for them!
