@world..geo: Similar to its southern neighbor Kansas, much of the state is dedicated to agriculture. Even with this being the case and much of the state being incredibly flat, there are still spots for great outdoor activities. In the west you have the Scottsbluff National Monument and chimney rock National Monument that are home to incredible scenery that is great for taking in the views and going for a hike. Throughout the rest of the state you have recreational areas that offer great water activities along with the great Platte River that is home to one of the great spectacles of bird migration when a million sandhill cranes stop here between February and April before making their way north. #travel #Outdoors #nature #Hiking #godscreation
