Cops suck at knowing how to handle mental health. They knew he was having an episode of sorts and that he was agitated yet they kept going towards him. They knew he kept reaching into his pocket, yet they continued to approach him. They knew he was afraid they would k!ll him yet they still approached him. They also knew they had a taser they could have used before ever getting close to him yet they still approached him. They suck at dealing with mental health.

So what reason did they have to even put their hands on him, or chase him down? He wasn’t breaking any law, they could’ve just walked away when he said he was done. Instead, they chase him down, tackle him, and then shoot him when he tries to defend himself. Cops don’t have the right to put their hands on people for no reason. This should’ve been handled differently.
