Just for people watching - Universal Credit doesn’t automatically mean free prescriptions/glasses/dentist etc. You have to earn under a certain amount of earnings. Some people get UC whilst working full time depending on pay - you have to earn under a certain amount

not all of this is factual, actually. It's quite harmful to post that people on UC get free prescriptions etc. People have assumed this for a really long time and have ended up with massive fines because of videos like this

These are great to know about but some of these are not valid to all UC receivers. Some of the things are income based despite being on UC

Support for disabled people is vital. But framing state support as a list of hacks or perks, especially in a cost-of-living crisis, feels tone-deaf. These systems exist to help people survive, not to be gamified or celebrated online. If you’re intelligent and able enough to sit here and put this whole video together, you could ably be working an office or clerical job, rather than claiming PIP.

Also for free food have a look at Olio and also any food pantries or community fridges in your area. I save over £300 a month doing this.
